• If you haven't read Knausgaard before, this book may come as a surprise to you. That's because most books about Artists are written by “experts” who more often than not have axes to grind, theories to advance in art criticism.
  
  Not Knausgaard.
  
  Like his novels where he foolishly lays out his bad behavior, raw emotions, and his reactions to everyday life, here he writes about his personal responses to Munch's work. And like his prior books, he is a master at describing the complex, often contradictory feelings that are aroused in him by Munch's paintings.
  
  Knausgaard doesn't canonize Munch; he depicts a flawed, often amatuerish, and always insecure artist who nonetheless pursues his ambition relentlessly. Munch left behind a lifetime's cache of works, many of which are not very good, but the aggregate of those paintings articulate the remarkable journey he took.
  
  Knausgaard understands the artist's process; the Doubt and Belief in Painting, as Gerhard Richter spoke about. I think he would be the first to admit that much of his own writing is not very good, but he is still working on it.
• Really interested in the subject but book provided little background in a language which is mediocre to the best. Not sure if it is same in original or issue is in translation
• More genius.
• Knausgaard is the first author I've read who discussed the space in which art happens for the artist and the viewer. It is very much about the way art is experienced, and is a fantastic read.

• I wanted to love this book, I pre-orderd it and was excited to get it, as I am a huge fan of her blog, but it is oddly bland. It’s all been done before. The recipes are mediocre, the styling is a bit stilted and contrived and some of it is downright impractical ( check beach picnic).
  The price was decent, so I am not hugely regretful but feeling underwhelmed at the impact I thought it would have. It’s pretty but not substantive. Momentary and muted eye candy.

• Jenni Kayne is a young West Coast "Martha Stewart" who has created a lovely, inspiring book on healthy living and entertaining, divided by seasons. The food is beautifully presented with recipes that don't seem too complicated. Table decor is understated and natural. Each entertaining event ends with a "parting gift" and "how-to" instructions. Can't wait to try everything.
• First, let me say that like everything Jenni Kayne touches, the book is lovely. I would’ve preferred more of her many profiles of accomplished women, their spaces and “uniforms”. When I called a store and asked about the nature of the book, I was given to understand it to be more in the nature of her blog profiles and less of a millennial Martha. Still lovely though, so I will keep it and watch for another book soon.
• This is the most beautiful book! I am a huge fan of everything that Jenni does and this book does not disappoint. Her aesthetic is so stunning and I love all of the tips that she shares. I bought five copies so I can give to my favorite friends as gifts.
• Like everything by Jenni Kayne this book is perfection. The shots are incredibly beautiful and spark so much inspiration. I am so excited to throw my next dinner party or brunch and replicate some of these settings and recipes! My favorite part is the parting gift ideas... how unique!
• First off, the cover of the book is SO beautiful and is an amazing addition to my coffee table. I love that this book is a combination of suggestions for entertaining that can be easily applied to my lifestyle along with delicious looking recipes. Everything Jenni Kayne touches is magical, so very excited to bring some of that to life in my own home with tips from Pacific Natural.
• As a new homeowner, I've been in the market for books that will really inspire me to get into the art of entertaining. I've been using Pinterest and other resources to plan parties or find recipes, but nothing has really catered to my style as much as Jenni Kayne's Pacific Natural. It's not just a coffee table book with gorgeous pages you can endlessly flip through - it's much more than that. The recipes, decor, and art tips and tricks are thoughtful, beautiful and easy to follow. I'm so excited to have this book in my home. I have a lot of entertaining plans to get started on!
• This beautiful book is the perfect accent for any home or a lovely hostess gift! Jenni exemplifies the California lifestyle throughout the book and suggests simple, yet thoughtful, recipes, decor and gifts. Every page is filled with gorgeous photos, love of nature and family.

• Someone suggested this book, after I lost my 32 year old daughter to cancer. I ordered it, tried to read it, and put it down. It stayed stacked with other books, for two years. The beginning of this year I came across it again, opened and read. Now, I can finally read and appreciate it. It is six days until my daughter's birthday (my Valentine's baby), and this excerpt especially touched my heart.
  "It surprises us. We know it's a fluke. We know it won't last.Happiness? Contentment? Joy?
  And not just a quick flash of joy, of contentment--as when we are lifted up on wings of song--or by prayer--or by a spectacular sky--or because of a daisy blooming in some field. But a sense that in some way we are going to be able, after all this, to be happy! Whoever would have thought it?.......
  It is life calling to us--See, you are mine. I have wonders in store for you, believe it or not. And I will wait for you--beneath the snow, if necessary, and beyond the storm."
  When I came home this summer from being with my three grand children, I was full of joy and love. A thought came, "Why should I be happy? She is gone, and I'm all alone." I decided right there and then, that I would be happy, period. Was I happy that I had lost my daughter? Never in a million years, nor was I happy with how things happened or turned out, but I chose to be happy in life, despite what had happened, she would have wanted that.
  Now that I can finally read this book, it has brought smiles and tears and is helping me heal even more. I wrote this so that those that are walking this road of shards of glass, when it has turned into a path of pebbles, you can pick this up, read and meditate. By the way, it is still a work in progress, I have many more days of happiness, joy and peace since I made that decision than before. Blessings!
• I ordered this because I had just lost my dog. I know this is probably for human loss but I still pick it up after 8 months to find help. I feel that loss is loss and when you have a dog that is your constant companion for 16 1/2 years, you grieve over them as well.
• I lost my husband l0 months ago and a neighbor gave me this book. I cannot explain how many of the daily readings spoke directly to me. These readings are written by people who also have lost a loved one and they spoke of their agony.It seems I was no longer alone. These people shared the same agony I am still experiencing.
  OF ALL THE READINGS I HAVE DONE THIS PAST YEAR - THIS WAS THE BEST.! CERTAINLY it doesn't bring my loved husband back but now know I am not suffering alone.
  I have purchased several of these books for others. Every one is amazed how these pages seem to speak directly to each one of us.

• I don't write many reviews but this book is so exceptional that I had to write a review. My five year old son died suddenly and accidentally in 2013. I thought my life was over. I am an avid reader and bought every book on grieving I could find to try to help me cope and figure out how to keep living.
  
  This little book is far and away my most treasured purchase. If I had to give away my entire library and keep one book, this would be it. The passages are short and easy to read in under five minutes, which is a blessing for those of us dealing with loss of concentration that comes with intense grief. Although short, the passages contain deep, thought provoking, yet simple, gentle and hopeful thoughts for those suffering from devastating loss.
  
  I recently went away for a weekend and although packing space was limited, I took this book with me. That is how much a part of my morning routine it has become. It is not overtly religious, so I would feel comfortable giving this book to anyone, from the most religious person I know to the staunchest atheist. It is intelligent and insightful and does not give way to clichés or trite phrases that we hear all too often. I highly recommend it for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one. I am purchasing additional copies to family and friends who are also grieving.
• Gret little book of daily inspirations- not too heavy., Many ppl who are grieving might find a book of more substance too tedious. This is light. Read daily or just now and again- when you are in the mood. Start in the middle or from the end..there are no rules. Nice to be able to look up special dates such as the date you lost your loved one or th day you met etc ... Recommended!
• I bought this book when I was coping with the loss of my grandmother- she was the first person close to me that I have lost. I found this book on here and couldn't be more glad that I did. Every time that I read it, a sense of comfort comes over me. It's extremely relatable and helpful to get in the right mindset. Everyone goes through grief and this book could be more spot on with words of love, inspiration and motivation.
  
  I ended up buying this book for my grandfather, parents and aunt and they were so appreciative and have the best things to say about the book as well. My aunt read it all in a week, my grandfather picks it up occasionally and skips around and I prefer to read it daily- all ways have led my family to more peace. A must need for people going through hard times and need a little extra boost.

• I really wanted a cute Easter book for our toddler. We love Llama Llama books, so thought this would be a sure win. Sadly, it was not. I feel the book lacked too much to justify keeping it. First, ours arrived warped. Secondly, it just didn't keep our LO's attention. It didn't flow, wasn't very cute or catchy, and was so short. Don't misunderstand me, I value short stories - she won't stay focused on a book for too long. But this felt like it belonged in Target's cart-well (inexpensive and cute seasonal items at the front of the store). It was cute(ish), but only merited a discounted price in our opinion. We're going to try to find a better Easter board book. This one flopped in our house. The pictures were cute, but not enough to offset to poor story.
• If you're familiar with the Llama Llama series, then you know this book is an awesome addition to the collection. It's simple enough for the younger children to follow and incorporates some learning, as do the other books in the series. There is no religious aspect of Easter in it, just a heads up.
• My 4 month old grandson enjoys this book, but not as much as his "Brown Bear" books. They sing-song rhyming words are appealing, but the illustrations are not as eye catching as those in the Brown Bear books. Also, he likes to hold his books himself and these are a little bigger than the Brown Bear books so not quite as easy for his small hands. All in all a good book though.
• My daughter (3) loves the llama llama books. This one is small (not a full size book) and short (5 pages front and back, plus the inside of the front and back cover) This book would be better suited for kids younger than 3, it was a bit too short to interest my 3 year old.
• My 2 year old loves this book. I thought the text was a little too short/simplistic, but he loved it! The concept is very sweet, that in an egg hunt, he finds a real bird's nest and watches the bird hatch. Fun Easter book.
• This book is cute and well made. We love all the llama llama books!
  It is geared for smaller children though. (Think younger than 2).
• The full-length Llama Llama books are wonderful, but these holiday board books are disappointing. No story line, just a few pages of rhymes. Our two year old doesn't have much interest.

"Being a bit of a shut-in, I'd completely missed out on the Lawson craze, and I can only thank God Almighty for the good fortune of having stumbled upon this piece of comedic perfection.
Highly relatable, witty, and fresh, "Let's Pretend" had me laughing aloud by page ten, and I never really stopped.
Even her use of profanity is clever. Had she been inclined to preface each with, "please excuse my French," one would, in short order, assume her a multi-cultural linguist. However, Lawson sets herself apart from most authors in that the cursing never seems forced, childish, or derogatory; to the contrary, the words are used to color a scene and elevate the laugh-level of the reader.
If there existed a way for me to force you to purchase and consume this book, then I would, and you'd feel so completely in my debt that you'd probably send me gifts of gold (white, please), jewels (black pearls make my heart flutter), and offer to babysit my children for free (I would happily forfeit ANY amount of material pleasure for a break from these mini, soul-crushing... blessings 😇).
Buy this book. Do it for yourself; do it out of guilt for missing ab day; and do it for The Queen!!!!!"

• What did I like? About 2 chapters where she talked about meeting her husband. I thought maybe it was going to turn into a decent book. I was wrong. What did I dislike? I disliked that somehow this ended up on the New York Times Bestseller List as as a #1 Seller; that Entertainment Weekly gave it glowing reviews; that Ladies Home Journal called it "the funniest memoir ever...."; that People Magazine, the Washington Post, etc. gave this raving reviews. I am clearly not in touch with what is going on in the world. It was trash. Complete and utter trash.
  
  I was looking for an uplifting humorous book. Something to make me smile. All of the reviews said that this was the book to buy. They were wrong and I paid too much money for this book. I don't know what I am going to do with it. I can't give it to a local charity because I would be ashamed. I can't recommend and share it with a friend. All I have left is to throw it in the garbage. What a waste of good paper (I should have bought it on , my mistake). Did I mention that I don't like the book? She made money on this book? And sadly, I ordered two humorous books at the same time and now I see that the second one is written by Jenny Lawson as well! The joke is obviously on me, but I refuse to let her and these blind book critiques have the last laugh!
  
  Save yourself. Do not buy this book. Save yourself time, money, and aggrevation knowing that people like this are considered "authors". If that is the case, then I am writing my own book because they are selling people a bill of goods and people aren't smart enough to see it.
  
  I am ashamed to know that I spent so much time trying to understand this author (who seems like an intelligent person). She never once made me smile or laugh. She just constantly shocked and amazed me. She actually quit her job in HR to write....this. But hey, she is laughing all the way to the bank. The joke is on us.
• Sometimes you want to forget very embarrassing things that happen in your life and a few of those times you’ll ask your friends to pretend it didn’t happen, now think about that being the majority of your life. Jenny Lawson, aka “The Bloggess”, recounts her life from childhood through school, romance, marriage, and motherhood in her first book, Let’s Pretend This Never Happened A Mostly True Memoir.
  
  Lawson starts off the book by throwing the reader into the deep end of her humor and really doesn’t let them resurface until after finishing the book. Beginning with her childhood in Wall, Texas, Lawson goes through her quirky life from one embarrassing moment to another especially since her own father was a quirky taxidermist whose business was in the backyard AND that was before she even started school. Misadventures in high school—mainly dealing with a cow—and college follow, and it is in the latter where she meets her husband in which the most hilarious moments of her life begin. And through her marriage with Victor, the birth of their daughter, and move out into Texas countryside the misadventures only continue with predictably hilarious, yet embarrassing results.
  
  It’s hard to really evaluate a humorous memoir, except grading it on the content of its own humor. Honestly, given how much I looked forward to reading this book each day and the fact I had to stop reading out of either laughing or just being embarrassed at the author’s own embarrassing situations means it succeeded. Yet on top of that is Lawson’s faux notes from her editor(s) just add to the overall experience of the book. And the added bonus chapter of the paperback of notes from her promotional tour is a cherry on top of everything.
  
  Let’s Pretend This Never Happened is a hilarious memoir of a woman who owns up to her embarrassing moments, cherishes them, and knows they made her who she is. Though this wasn’t the first book by Jenny Lawson that I’ve read, yet now I can see why it became a bestseller and has led to a few more books by Lawson.
• Being a bit of a shut-in, I'd completely missed out on the Lawson craze, and I can only thank God Almighty for the good fortune of having stumbled upon this piece of comedic perfection.
  Highly relatable, witty, and fresh, "Let's Pretend" had me laughing aloud by page ten, and I never really stopped.
  Even her use of profanity is clever. Had she been inclined to preface each with, "please excuse my French," one would, in short order, assume her a multi-cultural linguist. However, Lawson sets herself apart from most authors in that the cursing never seems forced, childish, or derogatory; to the contrary, the words are used to color a scene and elevate the laugh-level of the reader.
  If there existed a way for me to force you to purchase and consume this book, then I would, and you'd feel so completely in my debt that you'd probably send me gifts of gold (white, please), jewels (black pearls make my heart flutter), and offer to babysit my children for free (I would happily forfeit ANY amount of material pleasure for a break from these mini, soul-crushing... blessings 😇).
  Buy this book. Do it for yourself; do it out of guilt for missing ab day; and do it for The Queen!!!!!

• I really enjoyed this latest outing in the Amos Decker series. I wasn't all that crazy about the last book in this series but this one more than lived up to my expectations. There were a couple of clues in the book I sussed out before Decker (having to do with a print left behind at an old crime scene and something fishy about a diner that features heavily in this book). I'm not sure if that more of a commentary about Baldacci's writing or more that maybe I have finally read so many mystery novels I'm figuring out the clues earlier, haha.
  
  I was pretty sure about halfway through that I had figured out the bulk of the mystery, but I was completely wrong. And then about three-quarters of the way through I was certain I had figured out the main reason behind the murders and again, I was wrong, haha. So all of that is to say that there were a lot of twists and turns along the way and I found I just could not put this book down until I got to the end, which featured several surprises.
  
  Really good book and I love it when an author as well known as Baldacci doesn't get complacent after he's made it big. Can't wait for the next book in this series!
• Amos Decker is back in another solid offering from Baldacci. Many twists of plot with interesting villains to challenge all of Decker’s analytical abilities. Surprises abound in his small hometown as he pays his annual visit to the graves of his wife and daughter. Murders aplenty, treachery, lies and stonewalling adversaries keeps one’s interest till the mystery is solved.
• If you haven’t yet delved into the world of Memory Man’s main character, Amos Decker, you’re missing out! While each novel can be read as a standalone, for me it worked better to read from the first book to date. I enjoyed seeing how Amos was growing as an FBI agent and as a man who suffered a head injury via the NFL.
  The series introduces Amos when he returns home in book one titled, Memory Man, to learn of the murders of his wife and daughter. From there, Amos spirals into a pit of darkness both professionally and in his personal life. What was really gripping in the latest novel was the way the author wove a mystery. Readers get a hint early as to who is the culprit only to learn…well, I won’t say so as not to ruin it for you who haven’t enjoyed it as of yet.
  The author has written a very engaging and riveting tale that kept me turning pages for hours. There were intricacies that made the story a surprise in the direction it takes and reveals a deeper plot than what is first apparent to the eye. Amos is changing since his appearance in book one and in many ways, he is also the same. There were a few heart touching-moments as I read parts that revealed Amos’s internal struggles and thoughts. Amos Decker is definitely a deep thinker. His personality quirks are at times frustrating to other characters but also endearing.
  I think readers will enjoy watching Amos Decker as he solves crimes, bucks the system and learns to live with loss. The series starts with Memory Man followed by The Last Mile, The Fix, The Fallen and now Redemption. Suspense, mystery, intrigue, and more fill the pages and will keep your nose in the book all the while engaging your mind as you try and solve the puzzle presented in each installment.
  I highly recommend starting at the beginning to really appreciate the character as he changes, grows and in some ways remains the Amos from the first book to the fifth. I hope the author plans more exciting adventures for Amos!
• I loved the previous four books in the memory man series. To me, this 5th book was a disappointment and not up to the usual Baldacci writing. Amos is back in his hometown of Ohio to visit his wife and daughter's graves. Once his partner, Jamison, leaves to return to the FBI, it is Amos and his old police partner trying to figure out a crime committed 10 years ago. The book added no new depth to the memory man, even when his friend Melvin Mars showed up, I felt he was very shallow and did not add much to the story. Much of the story line was spent summarizing Amos Decker, what happened to him and his family and why he is the way he is. I suppose that is necessary for the reader who is reading the memory man for the first time, but I found it distracting. The storyline itself felt formula driven and so similar to the 4th book (all about what happened in Baronville, which was a great story) that this 5th book seemed dull and repetitive to me. Bottom line, I could have skipped reading this story and not felt that I missed something important in the memory man's life. I will look forward to reading Baldacci's next book in this series, and hope that he steps us the storyline.
• David Baldacci is at his best with this book. He just keeps getting better with each book. I cannot wait for the next Memory Man book or any other book that he writes.
• I immensely enjoy the Amos Decker series! One of my favorite characters! I look forward to more adventures with him. I highly recommend!
• This is one of Baldacci's best....torn from the headlines of our news in the last 2 years. I can't remember the exact number, but, the govt. has given a huge number of foreign spies and assets in our country these days. It certainly is food for thought.
• He is such a good author. All of his books are beyond great. I have followed him for years and still all of his works are outstanding. Keep it up

• I continually tell people that this is the best book I have ever spent money on. Heres why
  
  Clear, concise, and to the point.
  HESI hints- If you're going to read anything from this book, make it the HESI hints. The book points out what is most important for you to know in a topic and ways to answer questions.
  Charts, pictures, and graphs galore! (usually I hate them, but these are actually very helpful!)
  Chapters are set up by systems- extremely helpful when studying for nursing tests and the HESI finals
  Pages are glossy and not easily ripped.
  A whole chapter dedicated to the NCLEX exam and test taking skills (actually helpful tips)
  
  Whats in this book
  Chapter 1 Introduction to testing and the NCLEX-RN exam
  Chapter 2 Leadership and Management (to be honest, I haven't looked at this chapter at all)
  Chapter 3 Advanced clinical concepts- respiratory failure, shock, DIC, fluid and electrolytes, ECGs, HIV
  Chapter 4 Med surg nursing (pretty damn comprehensive, whole chapter is over 100 pages)
  Chapter 5 Pediatric nursing- disorders disorders and more disorders
  Chapter 6 Maternity nursing- I read this instead of the ridiculous book we had. Did better on the tests than everybody else.
  Chapter 7 Psych nursing- haven't gotten to this yet
  Chapter 8 Gerontology nursing- haven't gotten to this yet
  Appendix Normal values, recommended daily requirements and food sources, common lab tests
  Index MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS BOOK
  
  Works great for studying for those HESI finals, exit exams, in class exams, and the NCLEX. 100/10 would recommend for every nursing student.
  
  Cons
  Little pricey, but to be honest it was worth it. I'm not sure how it compares to the old version.
• WASTE OF MONEY! I bought this newer (expensive) edition thinking it would have updated info or new/revised questions for the NCLEX. It ended up being the EXACT same as the older less costly editions. All that's updated is just a few pictures added to it. That's it. I wish I would have know. I would have saved my money and ordered an older edition. Nursing School is expensive. The last thing I want to do is throw away my money.
• I used it to study for pediatrics and maternity and I got 99.99% score!!! Excellent book!
• I have the older version also. This newer version has so many typos and mistakes that I suggest you buy the older version that's green. The older version has way less typos. I actually stopped reading this version and went back to reading the older version due to all the typos. It's almost like nobody proofread this version.
• There are only 101 online practice questions that you can complete with the online code. The exam questions and the study questions with the rationals, are the exact same 101 questions! I reviewed this book prior to taking a HESI final exam and I scored the exact same LOW score as I did the first time without this book. Additionally, there are typos throughout the text. So much for the newer version. Save yourself some money!

• Bought this book after reading the good reviews, especially the ones claiming that they passed Ob/Peds HESI just by reading this book.
  Not impressed so far. The book essentially just summarizes information from book (not in a particularly impressive way) and then at the end of each section, there is a list of questions (called review) which is followed by a page of answers to the questions in review.
  Not very NCLEX or HESI style. There are some HESI hints weaved in throughout the reading.
  Hmm. Not sure if my $47.07 was well spent. I would rather read the chapter in the book, make my own notes/index cards and then use Saunders or Lippincott for NCLEX questions. Why do I need this book?
• I got a 953 on my Hesit Exit exam BECAUSE OF THIS BOOK!!! I only studied for about 2 weeks. Basically what I did was read through each section, pay CLOSE attention to the Hesi Hints and question sections (all in yellow boxes). After I would read a section, I would do the practice questions that came with the book access code. I did all of the sets, however the pharm questions did not really help me at all for the exit hesi. If you don't want to do the questions, at least DO THE COMPREHENSIVE EXAMS (there are two) that come with the book! It gives you a good idea for what kinds of questions the exit test will be asking you. I did these and would review and review what I got wrong. Lastly, two days before the exam I went through the book and only read the Hesi Hints. Know your labs, the book tells you which ones are crucial to know. SO THANKFUL FOR THIS BOOK!

So happy that the Talusians and the Sisters and created a new start for the Toralians and that the Gotlians were able to find their new world. With the Dichnya entering their era of technology and the defeat of Artifice, the wall may end up being a new lane of commerce once the revengers are dissipated. So much happened in this book and I enjoyed every second of it. This series never disappoints me. I am so very excited to hear of your plan to incorporate the Pyreans and Messiants and others. I am an avid fan!!! And cannot wait for Alliance!
• I have literally devoured this entire series! I just can’t get enough. I’ve been into Sci Fi since I was very young. Being a child of the 60’s my first childhood memory was the moon landing.
  Always dreaming of what it would be like to be an astronaut but never had grades in school good enough to persue a career in that direction. This Author is one of the Best I’ve come across. So now that I’m currently caught up with this series with Alex and family I’m reading about the Pyreans. Thank you S. H. Jucha and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next in the universe full of hope with Alex, and the SADEs. With all the crazy in this world it’s refreshing to escape into this wonderful place where good prevails and we have leaders like Alex and Julian have everyone’s best interest at heart.
• Beginning with Book 1, “Silver Ships” on a whim, and eagerly moving through to Book 13, “Sojourn” has been a a satisfying development in story telling skills.
  
  Scott Jucha's unique handling of delicate subjects lends a style that is refreshing.
  
  If you like science fiction, space travel, planet exploration. aliens and personal reactions that will have you closing your eyes and projecting yourself hundreds of light years away - start with book one I promise you will not be disappointed; Scott Jucha is headed to science fiction story telling greatness. I look forward eagerly to Book 14 .

• Again and again the Silver Ships (i. e. S. H. Jucha) has managed to give me wonderful reading material with unexpected twists and turns.
  
  This book is following up on this beautifully. New aliens, new friends, new enemies and new neighbors. The forward thinking of Alex Racine is excellent, especially after it gets explained to us slightly slower on the uptake )
  
  Definitely recommended, and at 0340 when I should be sleeping I preferred finishing the book...that should tell you something !
• I do not usually give five stars to books but the entire silver ship series is excellent and in my opinion worth five stars. My only disappointment is that I have to wait to be able to read the next book.I like the inter-action of the characters I also like the fact that most problems are solved through intelligent,negotiations and compromise and not by fighting and killing everyone. I truly hope this series goes on for many many more books.
• Again a great book with all my favorite characters! Alex and company continue to aid the universe. New aliens, worlds and battles! Also some new and unexpected developments among the various alien species. As always an opportunity to move forward. I will admit I am a little skeletal about the merging of the Pyreans series as I didn't particularly enjoy the first book.
• The affect of the victory of the Omnians on the Federacy is related with emphasis on the defense and settling of Talos and the beginning of the settlement of a water world on the human side of the wall by a race from the Federacy.
  
  I do love the way that the author, Mr. Jucha, allows his characters to use diplomacy to settle differences when at all possible. Very refreshing!!!
• Another excellent addition to the Silver Ships series. I enjoyed seeing old friends who are growing and developing. Statt the series and get hooked into a brilliant spave opera. You get aliens, both good and bad, you get wonderful relationships between species. And of course advesarial aliens to overcome.
